815 Day Kindness Project

The 815 Day Kindness Project spread generosity again this year. This initiative was designed to encourage people to complete 815 Acts of Kindness throughout the community on August 15. 25 Kindness boards were posted in easily accessible locations. 

It's not too late, after you have completed your kindness act(s), post it publicly on your social media with the following: #BeKind815 and #815Day2024. We may even feature your post on the Rockford 815 Day Facebook page.

Let's all brighten people's day and surprise others with small acts of kindness which will have a big impact on our community.

This project was organized by a dedicated committee from the Miracle Mile business district, in collaboration with Alderman Frank Beach, the City of Rockford and the Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
